This learning environment is an educational summary of open doctrine and public technical literature. This chapter accounts for the sources used (Sources by topic and Source register), the standards that form the reference framework (Reference framework) and where the images come from (Images).
| Item | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Purpose | To account for the open doctrine, handbooks and sources the material rests on. |
| Two layers | Used (E numbers): publications and sources the material itself names, in § 20.4 or in the text of a chapter. Reference framework (R numbers): standards the material aligns with, such as the band letters (IEEE 521), the spectrum (ITU) and GPS signals (IS-GPS-200), but which are not cited in the text. |
| Method | The material summarises open doctrine (US Joint, US Army, NATO) and standard radar and EW literature, updated to mid-2026. Diagrams are own drawings. Chapters on Ukraine and drones are supplemented with OSINT and trade press. |
| Updates | Since August 2026 some chapters (Infrarrojos, GNSS and navigation war, Counter-UAS " drone-EW, Espacio " SATCOM-EW) are supplemented with developments from the RU Mil Tracker (E24); the original source is then named in the text. |
| Threat systems | For systems also covered by the Airdefense Academy, that register is the canonical source (E22); the threat deck in cubierta de referencia de amenazas refers to it. |
| Party sources | The SBU is a Ukrainian government service and a party to the conflict; claims are reported as claims and marked as such. |
| Images | Photos and illustrations from Wikimedia Commons (free licences) and government sources (public domain). See Images. |
